No matter where you go today, one of the most popular dishes is pizza. The popularity of this dish is so renowned that there are thousands of restaurants all over the world that make and sell this product. There are even thousands of grocery stores that cater to the requirement of this dish. Although this dish is popular, few people know the history of this dish. Did you know that the earliest form of this delicious food appeared in the year of 10th century BC in the area of Gujarat in India? The now traditional kind of pizza is made of flat bread that is covered with all kinds of toppings and then baked to perfection. But have you ever wondered where the recipe for this most popular food originally came from? You may not have known about the history of the pizza but here are a few facts that you should know about the food you are enjoying today.

The vegetarians will not miss the meat and will continue to eat this delicious food as it is one of the main choices of foods, besides the pasta which is a common favourite. The fresh ingredients will seem strange to those who are used to the foods from North America, but pizza is a great chance for a change of taste and perspective.
